What overlaps
Both entrances reward careful reading, applying a stated rule to facts and steady current-affairs revision. These skills can share daily study time.
What must stay separate
Question styles, length and marking rules differ and can change by year. Keep a separate mock schedule and error log for each paper, and never assume a CLAT mock predicts your PU score.
A simple weekly split
Spend most weekdays on shared skills. Reserve one timed CLAT mock and one PU-pattern paper each week, followed by a review session for each.
Plan around official dates
Note application and exam dates only from the official notices. As exams approach, shift practice toward whichever paper comes first.
