Quick answer: Make one page per topic: the rule or fact, one example, and the mistakes you made in mocks. Revise each page the next day, after one week and after one month. In the final weeks before CLAT or the PU Law entrance, revise only from these pages and your mock error log. Confirm the current pattern on consortiumofnlus.ac.in and in the official Panjab University prospectus.

What to write for each section

Section What goes on the page
Legal Reasoning / Legal Aptitude Principle, key words, one solved fact situation
Current Affairs and GK Event, date, people, why it matters
English New words with a sentence, inference traps
Logical Reasoning Strengthen, weaken and assumption cues
Quantitative Techniques Formula, shortcut, one data example

Keep notes short

Write in points, not paragraphs. If a page is full, split the topic. Use colours only for the mistakes you repeat.

Link notes to mocks

After every mock, add each wrong answer to the right page with the reason: concept, reading, time or guess. See the mock error log method and the current affairs revision log.

A simple revision cycle

  1. Day 1: make the page after class.
  2. Day 2: read it once and cover it; recall the points aloud.
  3. Day 7: revise and add mock mistakes.
  4. Day 30: revise again and remove what you now know well.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I make notes for CLAT?

Yes, but keep them short. One page per topic with rules, examples and your own common mistakes is easier to revise than copying full chapters.

What should PU Law entrance notes include?

Legal GK and legal aptitude terms, important current affairs, vocabulary and the question types you got wrong in mocks. Confirm the current syllabus in the official PU prospectus.

How often should I revise my notes?

Read new notes the next day, again after a week, and again after a month. In the last month, revise only from your own short notes and error log.

Can I use coaching notes instead of my own?

Use coaching material as the source, then write your own one-page summary. Writing it yourself helps you remember it.
